Sector Spotlight: Community

As a proudly Suffolk-based business, no work makes us prouder than projects that make a real difference to the lives of people in our community.

We have worked on numerous projects across the region – with budgets ranging from the millions to the thousands of pounds.

Recent projects have included constructing care facilities to medical centres and school classrooms to community centres.

Highlights range from the construction of a new occupational health clinic and office space for the East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust in Woodbridge to a 12-bedroom extension and modernisation works at a care home near Stowmarket.

In schools we have created bespoke new spaces for learning, including SEND centres and modern classrooms.

Many of these projects have been delivered ahead of time and under budget – allowing funds to be reinvested into the incredible work our clients do for their communities.

Aside from work, we also give back to community organisations through our charitable efforts, with our chosen charity for 2024 being Suffolk Mind.

Paul Norris, our Managing Director, said: “There are few jobs more rewarding than projects that create a lasting legacy that positively impacts the communities our clients serve.

“We know that many community projects are in the public sector and as such come with strict budgets and timescales that must be met to ensure compliance. It is under these circumstances however where we thrive.

“We provide the same high standards and service clients would expect from Tier 1 construction companies – but delivered by a more personable team who deeply integrate themselves with clients and their goals.

“I would implore any community organisation planning their next project to get in touch.”
