We secured our place on the Suffolk Construction Framework 2023 in June, recognising us as an effective and efficient contractor eligible to work on major public sector projects in the county.
Our team have just finished Phase One of our first project on the latest framework, a decarbonisation project at a Suffolk Highways depot.
Ashley Davey, our Contracts Manager, said: “It is a big project – we are removing all the fossil fuel heating systems and replacing them with air-source heat pumps and more sustainable heating methods, as well as new doors, windows and air-conditioning.
“The project comes with a lot of unique challenges – especially as the depot remains fully operational – but we are really enjoying working on it.
“With the push for net zero we are expecting to work on many more decarbonisation projects like this.”
This is not the first time we have earned a place on the framework, having first been accepted by Concertus and Suffolk County Council after just one year of operating.
Other projects we have completed through the framework over the years include a supported living refurbishment in Stowmarket and the construction of new teaching facilities at Kesgrave High School.
We continue to tender for further projects available through the framework and feel a sense of pride in working on public sector works that give back to our county.
