We were instructed by Suffolk County Council to transform their existing office at the Felixstowe site and create a modern, efficient and sustainable working environment.
Work included the design and installation of a 36m² mezzanine floor to optimise existing space, alongside the development of new office spaces on the ground and first floors.
A state-of-the-art IT/data room was built to support the council’s technological infrastructure, alongside new dedicated storage rooms to efficiently manage resources.
Further internal refurbishments included electrical upgrades to meet current standards and future demands, alongside the installation of a mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) system to improve energy efficiency and indoor air quality.
The result is a refreshed and efficient workspace for Suffolk County Council staff – allowing them to continue their vital local governance and community work.
