The BOOT team were instructed to complete the refurbishment works by Suffolk County Council, breathing new life into the building used to provide community nursing and therapy services.
Works included refurbishing the existing office spaces on the ground and first floors, as well as installing new mechanical and electrical systems. These included mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR) and air conditioning.
Further infrastructure upgrades included improving existing data networks, while a new tea point facility was constructed and existing furniture replaced and installed.
Ensuring thorough safety compliance was key to the project to minimise disruption to both staff and patients on site.
The result of our work is a modern, enhanced and comfortable office space for NHS staff, promoting efficiency and boosting employee satisfaction.
