The project saw us complete extensive extension and remodelling works at Ravenswood Primary School alongside LSI Architects to facilitate the new learning and administrative spaces.
A single-storey extension was constructed, enabling the creation of three new group rooms and three administrative rooms.
Minor demolition work to an existing classroom also saw part of the school building converted into a new library space.
Ground and drainage works also took place, alongside mechanical and electrical modifications to facilitate the new spaces.
Like with all projects, safety was paramount – particularly given risks posed to pupils.
Stringent traffic measures were put in place to ensure their safety, including safe access routes and off-limits areas to guarantee unhindered movement on site.
Minimising disruption to pupils and their learning was also key.
Regular and constructive communication was crucial throughout the project with the numerous stakeholders involved, ensuring the smooth progression of our work.
