Despite navigating tight deadlines and keeping the project within our client’s budget, our team rose to the occasion, delivering exceptional results that surpassed client expectations.
Concertus Design and Property Consultants, one of East Anglia’s leading design and property firms, sought to relocate their office space to accommodate their growing team of over 100 employees.
With a defined budget and a deadline of just 15 weeks, BOOT Construction was chosen for our reputation for excellence and ability to deliver within constraints.
The project involved a comprehensive refurbishment of Concertus Design and Property Consultants’ multi-storey office space, including desk areas and a large breakout space. Our task was to transform the space to meet the client’s functional and aesthetic requirements while adhering to the strict timeline and client budget.
The project presented several challenges, including the client budget, tight deadline, and logistical constraints due to the office’s central location. Additionally, coordinating with various subcontractors and managing material storage posed significant challenges that required careful planning and execution.
From the outset, BOOT Construction adopted a strategic approach focused on meticulous planning and effective communication. We conducted thorough site surveys and established a robust pre-construction plan to mitigate risks and ensure smooth project execution.
Our early allocation of strong site management and direct labour, coupled with proactive coordination of long lead-in times for essential systems, minimised disruption, and delays.
Furthermore, we prioritised site security and minimised disruption to residents by carefully managing material deliveries and temporary site accommodations.
Throughout the project, we fostered a collaborative relationship with Concertus Design and Property Consultants and its partners, ensuring transparency, trust, and mutual respect at every stage.
Despite the project’s challenges, BOOT Construction successfully completed the office refurbishment ahead of schedule, saving the client £500,000 in costs through a comprehensive Value engineering process.
The revamped space not only met but exceeded the client’s expectations, showcasing our technical expertise and commitment to excellence. The project’s success has strengthened our relationship with Concertus Design and Property Consultants and demonstrates our capability to deliver outstanding results, even under demanding circumstances.
